Located at Van Isle Marina in beautiful Sidney, British Columbia, South Island Marine has been providing mariners with top quality service since 1999. We have an impeccable record for excellent customer service and we pride ourselves on our honest, straight forward approach to meeting all of your parts and service needs.
South Island Marine is proud to be an authorized Evinrude dealership, though we also service all other marine brands including but not limited to; Mercurcy, Volvo, Yamaha, Suzuki, & Tohatsu/Nissan. Our marine technicians specialize in diesel engines, inboard & outboard motors, and stern drives. In addition, we also install and repair various yacht systems such as Spectra Watermakers and Hurricane heating systems.
The President
Andrew Gill, owner and president of Sea Power Marine, saw the amazing potential of South Island Marine and purchased this wonderful business in November 2018. Andrew has owned and operated Sea Power Marine since 2000. Andrew has 2 red seals and is highly educated in Volvo Penta training. He focuses on craftsmanship, continuous training/education of his technicians, and excellent service with top notch expertise.
